Bo – Our first Medical Alert dog

Bo

Bo, our first Medical Alert animal, came to the Humane Society as a stray with a leg injury that kept him in pain but after his much needed surgery he can run, walk, and play without pain or discomfort. Bo got adopted on January 22nd and here’s a first report with photos from his new family.

“This is BO’s new family. We wanted to let you know he is doing great. He is very happy and loves being outside to play ball and chase his new chew toys. Bo has already had a positive impact on all of us. He is such a great dog. He is eating well, adjusting no problem and he loves being around people.

We are all Happy! He sleeps inside on a nice big piece of carpet at the foot of our bed.

Thanks again.

Update on Bo – April 2010

“We love BO… He rocks… What a great dog… He is part of our family.. .He is so happy.  My daughter has learned about the responsibility of owning an animal and know that we did a noble thing by adopting a dog in need…. We are so glad we stopped by to visit.  We had no intention of adopting an animal.  I just wanted my daughter to understand the humane society and what it was all about. But when we saw Bo… We knew he was for us and we were for him…..”
