Meet the adorable and resilient Mr. Magoo!

Mr. Magoo is a special 10-year-old Yorkie mix who came to us in early April after a Good Samaritan found him wandering alone in their neighborhood.

Upon his arrival, our medical team discovered that Mr. Magoo has arthritis in his spine, which affects his mobility. He is also blind, likely deaf, has been diagnosed with kidney disease, and is receiving treatment for a UTI.

Mr. Magoo is now searching for a forever home with someone who understands the medical care and ongoing attention he will need. He is currently on a joint supplement, antibiotics for his UTI, and daily medication for his kidney condition. Thanks to a generous donor, Mr. Magoo will go home with a wheelchair to assist with his mobility.

Despite everything he has been through, Mr. Magoo remains full of spirit and charm. While we are unsure of how much time he might have left, we know that he deserves to spend it in a home with a family who loves and cares for him. He has already stolen the hearts of our staff, and we know he’ll steal yours too! If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a sweet senior dog who would love nothing more than a cozy, caring place to spend his golden years, please come meet Mr. Magoo.

He’s a little bundle of joy with a heart of gold—and he can’t wait to be your new best friend!
