Despite everything, Mina is happy girl!

ADOPTED! Meet Mina, a strong and beautiful 1.5-year-old Terrier Mix. She was transferred to us from Animal Care Services (ACS) in January. Upon intake, our medical team quickly discovered that Mina had a broken leg.

To give her the best chance at a pain-free and happy life, it was decided that amputating her broken leg was the best option. Unfortunately, after surgery, Mina developed immune-mediated thrombocytopenia, a condition that caused her platelet count to drop dangerously low and led to a severe infection.

Mina required daily sedated wound care, including laser therapy and bandaging. She lost some weight during her journey back to health, but started a weight-gain plan once she recovered and is already almost up to her goal weight!

Meet Mina, a strong and beautiful 1.5-year-old Terrier Mix.

Despite everything, Mina has remained in the best of spirits throughout her recovery. She’s now ready to find her forever family! Mina is a friendly girl who loves meeting new people and is eager to make new friends. Come meet this gorgeous girl today and see if she could be your new adventure buddy!
