All about PRISCILLA

PRISCILLA is a 2 years, 7 months old female Retriever/Mix who weighs 43 pounds and has been with us for 30 days.

Meet the resilient Priscilla! Priscilla is a 2-year-old Retriever mix who came to us in early January after being found as a stray wandering along a highway. Thankfully, a good Samaritan stepped in to help, and now Priscilla is safe and ready to find her forever family.

When Priscilla arrived in our care, our veterinary team at the Leeu Naylor Medical Building quickly realized she needed medical attention quickly. One of her legs was injured, and she also required treatment for heartworms. After careful consideration, our medical team determined that amputation would give her the best quality of life, and she has since begun her treatment journey.

Priscilla has been healing like a champ! Don't let her HW discourage you from adopting, her full treatment will be covered through participating VCA hospitals. She's now ready for a patient, understanding family who will help her continue building confidence and learning how to be the best pup she can be.
