GRAHAM is a 2 years, 9 months old male Terrier/Mix who weighs 59 pounds and has been with us for 98 days.
Say hello to sweet Graham! This 2-year-old Terrier mix joined us in early September after being transferred from another local shelter.
Our incredible Leeu Naylor Medical Building team jumped into action to help Graham when they noticed that this gentle pup had not only heartworms, but a noticeable leg injury which our staff determined was a fractured femoral head on his left hind leg. Graham received lots of dedicated care. His fractured femoral head was removed and corrected with a procedure called a femoral head and neck osteotomy. This was followed by weeks of laser therapy, sessions in our underwater treadmill, and our version of "doggy yoga" to help him build his strength. He also continued to receive his heartworm treatments, and now he can't wait to find his forever home!
Graham remained the happiest and sweetest pup throughout his time recovering. He is such a happy pup who enjoys walking and being cuddly with whoever is around! Come in and say hello to Graham today, we are sure he will steal your heart!
