Sandy is a gorgeous 3-year-old Shepherd mix bursting with personality and energy! She was transferred to us in April after being found as a stray by another local facility, and she's been stealing hearts ever since. This playful, spirited girl is looking for a family who understands her enthusiasm for life and can guide her with patience and love. Sandy has been working closely with our training team to channel her excitement into calm, confident behaviors, and she's making wonderful progress! She would thrive with experienced dog owners who will enjoy training with her and provide her with plenty of outlets for her energy, such as long walks or playtime in the yard.
Sandy would do best in a home without cats, small animals, or children under 12. With a proper introduction here at the SAHS, she does have the potential to join a family with another dog, though! Thanks to our Guardian Angel program, Sandy's adoption fee has been fully sponsored! All she needs now is the right family to give her the guidance and love she truly deserves.
