Elsie is a very sweet 1-year-old Terrier mix with a gentle heart. She was previously adopted from us as a puppy in March 2024, but through no fault of her own she was returned to us in February when her adopters' circumstances changed.
Shelter life has been tough for this sensitive girl, but she did get a break with a loving foster family. In a home environment, Elsie truly blossoms - especially when she has a dog buddy by her side to show her the ropes! Elsie loves going on walks, is a superstar on the leash, and is eager to learn new tricks when you have treats in hand. Elsie would be happiest in a calm home without young children (under 12) and would absolutely love to have a canine friend to help her feel secure.
She may be shy at first, but if you spend some extra time with her, her affection and loyalty will shine through, and she'll be the best companion.
