All about MERA

MERA is a 4 years, 11 months old female Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier who weighs 49 pounds and has been with us for 47 days.

Mera is so excited to find a loving family! This super sweet 4-year-old Retriever mix is looking for a second chance at a forever home. Mera was transferred to us all the way from Florida in 2022 as part of our Hurricane Ian rescue efforts. This sweet girl was adopted not too long after her arrival, but unfortunately has made her way back to us after her previous owner got a new job which has caused them to no longer have the time to care for her. Mera is such a lovable dog - it's obvious from just a few seconds with her that she thrives on being around people! She also has the most unique eyes - one dark brown and the other a light golden color! Mera does have a lot of energy, but the perfect family for her will love this about her and take her on adventures with them!
