Meet Chester! Chester is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix who was transferred to us in late March from another local shelter after being found wandering Randolph AFB. Now he's ready to start his next big adventure with a forever family!
While in our care, our medical team noticed he had a crouched walk, and radiographs revealed he has mild hip dysplasia, a common diagnosis in large breeds. But don't let that fool you, Chester has been crushing his rehab exercise plan, which even includes laser light therapy! He takes his exercises like a champ every single day and continues to show just how resilient and amazing he truly is.
This special boy is full of heart, determination, and love, he's just waiting for the right family to give him the second chance he deserves.
