WALLACE is a 10 years old male Short Coat Chihuahua/Mix who weighs 8 pounds and has been with us for 8 days.
Say hi to Wallace! Wallace is a sweet and loving 10-year-old Chihuahua who came to us as a stray in mid-February. When he first arrived, he was in rough shape and needed our help!
During his exam our medical team diagnosed him with microphthalmia, which simply means one of his eyes is smaller than the other. Thankfully, it did not require any treatment at the time. What did need attention, though, was his dental health. Wallace was missing most of his teeth and required additional extractions to keep him comfortable and pain-free.
Even with only one tooth, he's been recovering like an absolute champ and now proudly shows off his adorable gummy smile! Because of his dental needs, Wallace will enjoy a canned food diet for the rest of his golden years.
All he's waiting for now is a kindhearted person willing to give him the chance he deserves. Wallace is ready to share his love and prove just how wonderful a senior pup can be.
