All about CADBURY
CADBURY is a 6 years, 3 months old male Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 11 pounds and has been with us for 90 days.
Meet Cadbury! Cadbury is a sweet 6-year-old tabby who came to us after being found as a stray and lovingly cared for by a good Samaritan. His previous owners shared that he is full of personality and we couldn't agree more! Adjusting to the shelter environment can be a little challenging for any cat, but he's been doing a great job and is very good at letting our staff know when he's ready for affection. Once he feels comfortable, his loving and playful side truly shines.
Due to some oral discomfort Cadbury was experiencing, our awesome Leeu Naylor Medical Building team decided to extract the majority of his teeth. He still has a few front teeth left, and our team is monitoring his condition since they may also need to be extracted at a later date. Cadbury has recovered well from his extractions, and he enjoys his daily soup--preferring for his canned food to be blended to a thin, watery consistency he often eats by dipping his foot into it.
Cadbury is also FIV+, which means his immune system is weaker than that of most cats. Because of this, he will need a home with a family prepared to help keep him safe from potential illnesses. He will also need to be the only cat in the home or live with other FIV-positive cats. With proper care, cats with FIV can live long, happy, and healthy lives.
Come spend some time with Cadbury today! He is a special feline who may need more extra love and care than other cats, but who is sure to be the best companion for anyone looking for a cute and cuddly new family member.
