Nova is the perfect start for our little family. She is loved by all. She loves playing fetch and she's being trained to be a service dog! She is loving, kind, and crazy. Her favorite snack is frozen carrots. She loves to swim and play fetch. She already knows commands like sit, down, up, spin, and bed. Thank you, SAHS, for all the kind services!

NISD Myers Elementary School donation 2022 — Melba Garcia and Ellen Webber helped 1st grade students at Myers Elementary School (NISD) organize a toy donation drive to benefit pets at the San Antonio Humane Society. Thank you so much for all the toys - our pets are going to love them!

The Wash Tub donation 2022 — A big thank you to the The Wash Tub for your donation (all proceeds from their Fiesta medal sales) to help us save more lives!

Abby Donations 2022 — Thank you so much Abby! "Abby collected newspapers and other items for the 3rd year in a row for her middle school service project. Her love for animals started at such a young age and she can't wait to volunteer when she is old enough!"

Addie donation 2022 — A big thank you to Addie who collected blankets and made enrichment items for our dogs! We know the pups are going to love them!

Brooks Spay/Neuter Clinic donation 2022 — A big thank you to the Sam's Club by our Brooks Spay/Neuter Clinic for your donation of 500 face shields. It's much appreciated!

Insurance Women of San Antonio 2022 donations — A special thank you to Insurance Women of San Antonio, Inc. For filling up our donation bin with lots of cool and amazing handmade enrichment items for our furry friends this morning! A few days ago, IWSA also came by and donated 2 car loads of pet supplies, and presented us with a check for $500! We greatly appreciate it!

Jaydyn and Justyce 2021 donation — Jadyn and Justyce have done it again! For the past 5 years, they have collected donations to benefit the SAHS instead of asking for gifts. As they have grown, so have their donations! Each year, with the support of their friends and family, Jadyn and Justyce have been able to provide our pets with more toys, treats, and beds than the year before. These supplies will go a long way in helping us provide amazing care for our pets! Thank you so much for your generosity and for celebrating your 9th birthday with us!

Mr W Fireworks 2022 donations — A big thanks to Mr. W Fireworks for your generous donation, and for helping to promote pet friendly fireworks, and fireworks safety.

Giovanni 2021 donation — Giovanni is a huge animal lover and decided to raise money and items for the San Antonio Humane Society. He collected and bought, with his allowance, items from our wish list for cats and dogs at the shelter. Giovanni also got his school to participate in service learning projects!
