DESCRIPTION:To be seen you need to check-in before 1.30pm!\n \n– Due to being short staffed we currently have a limited number of wellness clinics. We will see as many people as we can during these clinics\, we just ask to please be patient with us. \n– Also\, please note that due to previous incidents we are NOT able to open up any of our wellness clinics until a police officer is one site\, this might cause a delay in opening the clinics on time\, we apologize for any inconvenience. \nWellness Clinics are a great opportunity for members of our community to take advantage of low-cost wellness and preventative services to help your pet continue to live a healthy lifestyle. Wellness clinics are offered at the San Antonio Humane Society on Fredericksburg Rd. \nPlease bring and/or fill out the following: \n– Please fill out the wellness clinic form and send it to medical@sahumane.org\n– Any previous medical and vaccine records for your pet. \nServices Offered:\n– Vaccinations\n– Flea Prevention\n– Heartworm Prevention\n– Heartworm Test\n– Nail Trim\n– Dewormer\n– FeLV/FIV Test\n– Combo Test \nWhat to Expect:\nAll pet owners hoping to take advantage of these low-cost services must have their dogs on a leash or in a carrier during visit. Please note that cats MUST be in a carrier! Loose and/or uncontrolled animals are not allowed. \nAt our wellness clinics\, our staff briefly examine your pet to determine if they’re healthy enough to receive vaccinations and other services.\nIf our veterinarians feel your pet may be too sick for vaccines\, they will refer you to your regular veterinarian or nearest emergency clinic.
