If you need hours for school, church, work, NHS, or any other organization, you will need to attend a volunteer orientation. Upon the completion of your hours, a Community Service Hours Request Form must be submitted to the Volunteer Program Supervisor in advance and a printout of your hours, formal letter, and/or any required paperwork will be signed. If at any time the volunteer does not comply with the SAHS values, they will be dismissed as a volunteer.
Court-Ordered Community Service Hours
All court-ordered community service volunteers are required to contact the Volunteer Program Supervisor with documentation stating the reasons for the community service before being approved to volunteer.
Upon completion of the required hours, the Volunteer Program Supervisor will print out your hours, a formal letter, and/or any required paperwork will be signed. If at any time the court-ordered volunteer does not comply with the SAHS values, they will be dismissed as a volunteer.
We cannot enroll those serving community service hours for acts involving, violence, child or animal abuse/cruelty, or sex crimes. All other offenses will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
